Brennan Plummer is an American pianist, with classical piano being the focus of his creativity and outreach. He is heavily influenced by French Impressionism, as well as works from South American composers like Heitor Villa-Lobos and Alberto Ginastera. He has studied with Dr. Alan Huckleberry, Dr. Uriel Tsachor and Dr. Michael Gurt. He has participated in a wide range of masterclasses including chamber repertoire with the Harlem Quartet and JACK Quartet, and solo repertoire with Jani Parsons, Leslie Spotz, Mauricy Martin, and Clélia Iruzun He is a recent graduate from the University of Iowa, receiving a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, as well as minoring in Portuguese Language and is currently studying at Louisiana State University with Dr. Michael Gurt, on a full graduate assistantship.
